“A Very Dangerous Place to Be…The Opposite of Clinical Excellence”
Today, a doctor wrote in his narrative:
“The patient was seen by XXXXX XXXXXX, MD, a doctor of physical medicine, who recommended a cervical MRI, which was performed on May 8, 2004. The examination revealed, a broad based disc herniation at C6-7, moderate cervical spondylotic changes at C5-6 and C6-7, moderate canal stenosis and mild cord impingement.”
“No neurosurgical referral??? You adjusted a patient with a spinal cord compression without a surgical consultation…”
BE PREPARED TO LOSE YOUR LICENSE IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND HURT A LOT OF PATEINTS IF YOU CONTINUE TO PRACTICE WITH THESE PROTOCOLS…LUCK CAN GO JUST SO FAR!!!!!
This exact scenario has caused too many doctors to lose their licenses and I was one of the most uninformed, naïve, blindly adjusting, luck seeking, best guessing, finger crossing, clueless bastards that ever practiced…and I got bit in the ass. IT caught up to me in year 10 of practice and I have chronicled my journey in previous consultations. Why do you want to follow in my footsteps? It really, really bothers me, no, pisses me off, to see doctors who I have worked with still using these protocols or lack thereof…If you do not know the difference between impingement and compression or what to do with that patient, you MUST take the PI Bootcamp and the MRI Spine Interpretation Course. This is non-negotiable!
