“Is it a diagnosis…or isn’t it?”
This is an actual diagnosis I received from a doctor today. This doctor has been in practice for many years (more than 20) and this is the type of typical nonsense that I get. The reason I share this with you is to show you what the competition is doing.
"THE ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS, OF CERVICAL AND LUMBER HYPER-FLEXION/HYPER-EXTENTION SPRAIN AND STRAIN IS STILL GOOD, WITH THE ADDITION OF THE MOTION SEGMENT INTEGRITY LOSSES. THESE LOSSES ARE PERMANENT AND WILL CAUSE A PERMANENT IMPAIRMENT."
“First, as explained in the consultations, never use strain/sprain…and…this is a nonsensical statement…actually embarrassing of a doctor…List the current diagnosis as described in ICD-9…and…the concluding statement in the conclusion of your diagnosis (which doesn’t belong here) is not accurate or true…None of your diagnoses create any permanent scenarios and will invalidate you as an expert in the eyes of a lawyer or anyone else…”
I used to get very frustrated when I saw paragraphs like this…No more…I just get happy!!! As twisted as that sounds, I am happy because I know the rest of you that have paid your dues do not produce this type of “CRAP.”
Please understand that I did not selectively pick out the worst, because this isn’t. It is a typical diagnosis that is a by-product of the typical chiropractor. I have read over 1000 narratives, so it is fair to say that I understand what is out there. This is your competitive advantage.
