"Communication is the Key"
The communication between you and the lawyer is critical. Similarly, the communication between you and me is equally critical. I just received my least favorite phone call and it went like this. “Doc, I have to drop out because things are so bad, I can’t pay my bills.” This is the first communication I had received from this doctor since he started the program 4 months ago!
As I said to each of you in the beginning, my fee is $199 per month if you call daily or never. You will get the same great information online regardless. However, if your practice is in crisis, why aren’t you riding me like “Seabiscuit?”
I speak to doctors all over the country on a daily basis and your story will not be unique. I have dealt with issues such as a changing economy, loss of inclusion in managed care companies, licensure issues, criminal records, divorces, headfaruptheass syndrome, headreallyfaruptheass syndrome, procrastination and every other issue imaginable. It is what I do and you are paying me to do it, SO USE ME. I am welcoming your problems so I can create solutions. Again, if I do not answer your phone call, please do not leave a voice mail. Please e-mail me a note that says “call me” in the subject line, with your name and phone number written in the body of the e-mail. I will return your phone call.
In addition, many of you have not sent me your CV and narrative to critique. Please do so. If I haven’t responded to one you sent, it means I didn’t get it. I always respond within a day or so with the critique.
Lastly, I also welcome clinical questions. These days I receive more calls with clinical dilemmas or docs just needing a second opinion on findings. I also welcome those, as I really enjoy the practice side of the equation.
