"Videoconferencing to Lawyers"
As you know, I go around the country lecturing to lawyers. This is the single-most powerful tool you can use to build your practice in the shortest amount of time. I have been very careful to limit my travel time so that I can be at my desk to handle all of your needs and issues on a daily basis as they arise, with the understanding that I need to find a way to be in more places at the same time.
The purpose of lecturing to lawyers is to stay current on the issues nationally to help guide you in the medical-legal arena. This has been a very successful formula in keeping you one step ahead of the pack and we are learning it from the source directly. In addition to the lecturing, I give the lawyers in attendance my cell number and e-mail address, so I communicate almost daily with lawyers that help me stay current to the minute, on issues you need to know.
The solution is videoconferencing and the technology is finally here and will allow me to now lecture coast-to-coast without having to travel. This will accomplish my goal of being more accessible to you and your needs. I did my first videoconference a few weeks ago from New York City to Albany, Georgia and it was a big success. Here is a note from Dr. Roy Tolman, the sponsor of the lecture:
Sorry I have taken so long to write this letter about how successful the video teleconference was. It's because I have been so dang busy seeing new patients and meeting with attorneys!!!
Ever since the teleconference, I have seen a sharp increase in referrals from attorneys and the neat thing is, I never had to ask for referrals, they just sent them, just like you said they would. I had several attorneys that wanted to pay me for my time to explain the handouts and monthly fliers I brought them from the conference. It was a new experience for me and I felt so good doing it! I had PI attorneys that have practiced 25-30 years tell me that this was the best seminar they have ever attended! When I meet with them, many have files ready for me to look at and want my opinion.
I plan on having a minimum of 2 videoconferences per year and with the exception of minor technical “kinks” that we will work out on the next one, it was better than I could have expected, with the results better than I could have hoped for. I will say you were right about getting the lawyers to run after me; imagine that!
Have any of your members call me about it. I would recommend it to anyone. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it!

I look forward to working with you should you want to host a seminar and if you do it right, you should profit from the event. The events need 6 weeks to plan and implement. Call anytime to chat about it…Mark
