Lawyers Meetings-Communications #6

 From the Desk of:

"E-Mail Follow -Up"

After briefly speaking to a lawyer, either over the phone or in a meeting, but short of being able to give your full presentation there needs to be a communication to get them to the table. The following is suggested language for an e-mail. The red comments are the variables for you to fill in.

Remember, the 3 R's of marketing. Repeat and Review with Regularity. You have to be in their face consistently. It might take the same e-mail being sent 2-3 times to get their attention.

Dear Mr. Lawyer,

We briefly spoke [last week] when you were gracious enough to spend some time [on the phone-during the Bar Association-during the Chamber of Commerce meeting] with me. I understand that you have a very busy schedule and I would like to offer my services. I am a trauma trained specialist with credentials in MRI Spine Interpretation, Accident Reconstruction, Triaging The Trauma Patient etc... I work closely with an orthopedic group, neurosurgeon and physiatrists. In addition, I do not charge for testifying as standing up for my patients is my primary goal and I have one of the most extensive medical-legal tutorial programs for law practices in the region. This program will help you and your associates negate the false rhetoric that many defense lawyers propagate regarding pre-existing disc herniations, all things arthritis are pre-existing and that no damage to the vehicle means the occupant can never have serious injuries, to name a few.

I welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge with you and your staff. Please let me know when we can spend a few minutes to chat.

To formally introduce myself, my CV can be found at:
