Preamble: many of these issues are small, yet each issue is just that… an issue. If you take care of the small issues, then the larger issues often take care of themselves and you can focus on the larger issues… a larger, more profitable practice and more family time.

“Demonstrative Evidence”

Anterolesthesis

“Today I get to choose who I am” Mark Studin 2018

Thank you, Brandon Burkley from Raleigh, North Carolina for the images. This is the PERFECT way to deliver demonstrative evidence and if these images were printed on glossy paper, referenced and attached to your report, it could “seal the deal” for the lawyer in concluding an acute image.

If you can’t figure out how to get the MRI image on paper, ask a 10-year old!!!!!

Dr. Burkley wrote “PCP ordered x ray without flexion/extension. I ordered Flexion/Extension after PCP refused while patient was in Physical Therapy and getting intermittent bilateral leg pain with flexion exercises. Before this program I would have never thought about it.”

From a purely graphical perspective, notice how he used arrows and lines to graphically depict the pathology with #’s. The goal to making something demonstrative is to have the picture tell the story.

Although there is a significant amount of movement, the arbiter for treatment is the concurrent clinical findings or the absence thereof. I also might consider getting a second opinion from the neurosurgeon with this case… however, if the clinical findings are not significant, I would treat considering a non-osseous consideration directly to that segment until I could verify stabilization with post-x-rays by treating above and below the segment.

Respectfully,
