Quickie Consult 922
Narratives # 65 N

From the Desk of Dr. Mark Studin
Academy of Chiropractic
Preamble: many of these issues are small, yet each issue is just that… an issue. If you take care of the small issues, then the larger issues often take care of themselves and you can focus on the larger issues… a larger, more profitable practice and more family time.

“Sending Multiple Copies of Reports”

“I win because I am easy button” Mark Studin 2018

This quickie consult piggybacks on Consultation #68 in the Narrative Section (make sure you read it). As we go further into presenting demonstrative evidence, there becomes logistical issues in transmission. Usually, faxing or emailing grossly distorts the images and renders a “blob” instead of a crystal-clear image.

The following is the image on a report and the subsequent image is the fax transmission and how it looks for the end-user. Please note that you start with a crappy analog version on paper and it becomes much “crappier” in fax transmission.

This scenario holds true for almost every image and it is strongly suggested that you either mail or preferably “Hand-Deliver” reports to the lawyers. They need 4 copies:

1. The plaintiff lawyer
2. The defense lawyer
3. The court
4. The carrier

By giving them 4 copies, you will let them know that you understand their issues and I would deliver it in a “professional binder.”

Your job is to hit the “Easy Button” and give them quality copies. At the same time, it gives you an opportunity to sit with them and explain both your credentials and what you have created on paper in demonstrably verifying bodily the injuries of their clients.

Respectfully,

Mark Studin DC, FASBE(C), DAAPM, DAAMLP
