“I am conspiring FOR YOU.” Mark Studin 2017
I created the US Chiropractic Directory many years ago because I knew that lawyers needed an ethical pathway to refer to you. I also know that MD’s and lawyer now MUST have relationships with doctors who are smart and well credentialed, therefore, I created the Trauma Team so that you have a “carrot” to inspire you to take courses and get another “kick-ass” credential and a “shiny new certificate” to put on your wall. In the end, you will have the requisite credentials need to thrive for the balance of your career.
I also know that over time I will be adding more “MUSTS” for additional courses you have to take. By the time you finish the core 10 courses for the Trauma team, you will have “gotten it” and I won’t have to make it mandatory once you are on the team. By the time you get there… you already know and will not need a “carrot or stick” to take future courses to continually get better.
However, along the way I have been getting calls from doctors asking for any additional Trauma Team members in areas not listed and questions why doctor’s CV’s are not posted on the US Chiropractic Directory because imminent referrals are being withheld.
Therefore, IF you do not have your CV posted on the US Chiropractic Directory you are LOSING potential referrals. Am I certifying this will the ONLY solution for new patients being referred… NO! It is however 1 piece of the referral puzzle and you should be riding it like “Seabiscuit” with every lawyer you have a conversation with about ethical referring. If you don’t have a preferred listing by now… Get one and if you don’t… This falls under the column of… I can’t fix stupid! Because this is the biggest NO-BRAINER. Doctors nationally tell me they are getting referrals from all over the country as many use this portal to find a “Credentialed Doctor of Chiropractic” outside of their region. This is the ONLY portal in the world where you can find doctor of chiropractic’s credentials (CV’s) and that matters to patients. When my wife had cancer, I checked every specialist’s CV BEFORE I even spoke to them. Why is chiropractic any different? We aren’t and that is according to the singificant amount of market research I have done over the last decade. Your credentials matter to the public and is almost ALWAYS the arbiter for getting the phone call to set up the appointment for that new patient.
Last week I had a call from a doctor in southeast Florida, right after Hurricane Irene looking for a chiropractor in the Boca Raton area… He couldn’t find any doctor’s CV online and was flabbergasted why in this highly populated region of chiropractors none of the US Chiropractic Directory listings had a CV. He didn’t make the referral because he had no confidence in the doctors on the site who omitted their CV’s and had to call me to find out who I know. That is NOT how it should be. If only 1 of the MANY DC’s on the site in this region had posted their CV, they would have gotten the referral ahead of the one I knew (and saved me 2 phone calls).
In addition, as a practice strategy you should cut and paste the research links [CLICK HERE
] to your Web site and then put your Web site link on the practice description of the US Chiropractic Directory. Forward and backlinking is an important component to SEO…. And the information is all indexed, peer reviewed pro-chiropractic research that your patients will benefit from and increase compliance for care. The cost… $ZERO. Therefore… DUH!!!!!!!
I have figured this out for you and I am making it very easy for you to win… The choice is yours!
