“Lien Payment & Lawyer’s Deceptive Rhetoric”
Too many lawyers are looking to screw you on liens. Unfortunately, that is the trend and you need to follow the new magic language to reverse that trend remembering it is going to be a process. In the next few days I am going to create a program to get every lawyer to “think twice” about trying to take advantage of you in the lien process.
One level of deceptive rhetoric is when you follow the system in lien negotiations and the lawyer says, “I can’t divulge the amounts to be paid to other providers or I can be disbarred.” The answer is very simple, “get permission from your client or I will demand the entire lien amount vs. working with you and reducing my lien as discussed.”
If you have verification as prescribed in the consultations, you are in control of the payout process. Hold to the program and get paid while earning the lawyers respect as the reason they will prevail!
