Clinical Information #151

From the Desk of Dr. Mark Studin

Preamble: many of these issues are small, yet each issue is just that… an issue. If you take care of the small issues, then the larger issues often take care of themselves and you can focus on the larger issues… a larger, more profitable practice and more family time.

“Directional Bulge”

This is a new category based upon the literature (released 2 years ago in the Fardone article) and is being grossly underreported. This goes “hand-in-hand” with Dr. Wiegand’s digitizing and eventually this will degenerate. But initially, you get directional bulges. This image also has a slight annular fissure on the far left, but the real issue here is the directional bulge to the left.

Regarding digitizing, you now have the opportunity to do the digitizing in your office. Dr. Wiegand is going to be licensing the software so that you can do it and bill for it. Information to follow shortly.

#1: if you cannot see this, you need to take the MRI course.
#2: if you took the MRI course and cannot see this, you need to study with Dr. Peyster
#3: if you are not digitizing, you are not getting an accurate diagnosis and the patient and lawyer will not get what is fair.
#4: if your goal is to get lawyers to work with you, be a thorough diagnostician.

Respectfully,
