Preamble: many of these issues are small, yet each issue is just that… an issue. If you take care of the small issues, then the larger issues often take care of themselves and you can focus on the larger issues… a larger, more profitable practice and more family time.

“Another Meeting Not Had”

I just received another of my “much too many phone calls” from another doctor who had a last minute meeting with a medical doctor and asked what he should bring with him as they really don’t care about your CV. My standard answer is to bring the “Science of Chiropractic – Circa 2015” book as all the evidence you need is there.

Yesterday was another call from a doctor that got a last minute meeting with a lawyer and asked what he should bring. The simple answer is the “Evidenced Based Demonstrative Evidence of Bodily Injuries from Trauma” book. This book is getting rave reviews from lawyers and is the cornerstone of the invitations to the monthly meetings with lawyer.

Both books are simply the right “tools” to foster the relationships. What a great segue into the conversation by saying “I have a relationship with the author and can get him on the phone anytime to get clarification.” That positions you as a resource for the lawyers based upon your knowledge and clinical excellence.

Lawyers and MD’s do not expect you to have all the answers, only to know how to get them and quickly. That along with your credentials makes you the perfect “partner” for them to work on cases with.

The solution is always the 6 P’s… ALWAYS HAVE AT LEAST 2 OF EACH BOOKS IN YOUR OFFICE FOR LAST MINUTE MEETINGS.

Enter “studin” in the search box

That is one of the common denominators of our larger practices… Be prepared and win!!!!!!

Respectfully,
