Academy of Chiropractic Personal Injury & Primary Spine Care Program

Quickie Consult 581
Marketing 35 G

From the Desk of Dr. Mark Studin

Preamble: many of these issues I bring are small, yet each issue is just that… an issue. If you take care of the small issues, then you will be able to build and focus on the larger issues… a larger, more profitable practice along with more family time.

“Marketing Staff”

After dealing with a doctor in Atlanta who had a marketing staff member, and now currently Danielle in Las Vegas (who is the best) I realize that many practices need a marketing staff member to get to the next level.

If your practice is under 150-200 visits per week and you get less than 10 new PI cases per month, a marketing staff member is probably overkill because they are NOT the solution. You are the solution and will continue to be even when you get past that number but don’t have the time to do the little things necessary.

A marketing staff member’s primary role will center on document gathering and distribution as well as keeping your name in the faces of your referrers.

I will be creating a whole program, outlined in the consultations on the 5 W’s (who, what, where, when and why) that will be part of this program (no extra $$$$ for those cheap bastards (Chris and Don) who like to complain J). To start preparing, ensure that you do a complete history of who the patient has seen for both this accident and for the year prior to the accident… at a minimum.

I will be creating a continuing education type model for the marketing person to be trained on. It will be about an 8-10 hour program for them to do independently so that you can get them to understand what they need to do. I plan on that being completed in the next month or so.

This will help you all get to the next step!!!!

Respectfully,
