Preamble: Many of the issues I bring to you are very small, yet each issue is just that, an issue. If you take care of the small issues, then you will be able to build and more importantly, focus on the bigger issues...a larger practice and more family time.

"Cute...Pretty...Attractive...But Will Get You Zero New Patients"

I received this in my e-mail today:

Dear Fellow Chiropractor,

How many times does the average patient walk into your office?

What does that person see each visit on your walls?

Is it old artwork, blank walls, charts, or old posters that are wrinkled at the edges?

You probably know from experience yourself that when you walk into a building or an office and see the same thing over and over, year after year you do one of 2 things:

Ignore what you see (since it becomes boring and stale after a while) or make a mental note about the environment and make a judgment about that office (good or bad).

Either way you have a chance to make an impact on the person, an impression of your office and how they respond to their environment (your office) and what you are saying or going to recommend for them.

Marketing is defined as everything you see, smell, hear and possibly taste.  Utilizing your office environment and walls gives you a chance to do some non-intrusive chiropractic marketing and education while making your office look beautiful.

OK So I know the next question is: HOW?

Clearing the clutter, taking down old outdated posters or charts and moving the great ones you may have around at least every 60 days.  Purchasing at least a few new posters every couple months to add to your collection allows your office to stay fresh, educational and gives your patients new ideas about chiropractic, which they now can discuss with you and create new reasons for referrals.

Studies show that small things like a new coat of paint will give a patient more confidence in the doctor, imagine what adding some beautiful new educational and motivational artwork can do. Adding high quality professionally designed chiropractic artwork can and will give your patients a new understanding about what we do as chiropractors.

Please visit our site at www.chirostuff.net to see some of the latest and greatest artwork for the chiropractic profession.  We have been around since 1994 and have over 60 BEAUTIFUL posters that we proudly have in many countries around the world.  We would be honored to help you spread the word about chiropractic and help you build your practice.

Thank you for your love of chiropractic!

The Team ChiroStuff

I personally LOVE their work and in the past, I have had some of their posters on my walls...but...in the end, it was cute, pretty and gave a warm feeling to my office...but...I never got one new patient from it, thereby confirming that I missed an opportunity to use my "billboard space," my office walls. In a previous consultation, I shared with you that your walls should be filled with your diplomas, certificates and testimonials. I can say with a great degree of certainty and proof that by using the walls in my office to promote me as the "best-of-the-best through clinical excellence," I got numerous new patients for many, many years.

Upon new patient intakes, I was told by the new patients that they were referred by Mrs. Jones and commented on my credentials. This was well before I used the Internet and before I was smart enough to publicize my CV. Therefore, the only way they could have known was my billboard...my office walls.

Although you have more tools to use than I did when I practiced, do not substitute that which works; display everything about you and your practice on your walls, in your reception area and hallways. There are reasons why some are more successful than others, some large and some small. If you handle the small ones like this, the large ones usually take care of themselves.
