Academy of Chiropractic Personal Injury & Primary Spine Care Program
Quickie Consult 68
Dr. Matthew Emmons, a new practitioner in Arizona who has “blown me away” with his tenacity and huge volume in just a very few months in practice, sent me a narrative to critique yesterday. I want to share him with you for a few reasons. He is proof that you do not need to have been in practice for years and years to have a very successful practice. The program is just as easy for a new practitioner as it is for an experienced one.
In his quiet, respectful manner, Dr. Emmons has managed to have an almost daily dialogue with me, either on the phone or via e-mail, to ensure his success. Reading his narrative, which was a difficult one, he has let me know he gets it and his ascent towards his practice goals will be meteoric. I am very, very proud of him.
In his narrative, he included the following diagnosis:
736.81 Unequal leg length (acquired)
This carries a relative value of 8 (.8152) and makes for a very good diagnosis. I strongly recommend the utilization of that code, when clinically present.
